Hands-On Activity
Engaging students in hands-on activities enhances their learning and understanding of a concept. Especially in classes like mathematics where students may have a harder time learning the material, having them participate in hands-on activities has the potential to make the material easier to learn. Below is an example of a hands-on activity I created for an Algebra class. This activity teaches exponential functions using a real-world application and how to find both linear and exponential functions on the calculator.
